I was fortunate enough to be given platforms during my years in undergrad to write about really whatever I wanted, forming my beliefs and exploring different ideas as a Millennial surrounded by others from my generation.

As testament to my passion for current news and events, or just plain luck, I was the Opinions Editor at The Strand at Victoria College (of which I was not a student). It is almost absurd the extent to which I wrote about my favourite things: politics, reality television, James Bond, Aaron Sorkin, and aliens, among other things. I sought to write well, intelligently and persuasively. For better or for worse, and whether or not these beliefs still hold true today, the following is what was created over a two-year span from 2005-2007.
