Concert Review: Florence + The Machine

I was relatively on time for the Florence + The Machine party in 2009, when their debut album caught fire and swept around North America. It was the darker songs I liked best- darker not necessarily in subject matter, but in tone. I have completely embraced their follow-up record, one that is more heavy, intense, and celestial to be sure.

So on Thursday I was very excited to see the group live, and it seemed the perfect environment and the perfect weather for such a gripping and powerful so. The voice of Florence Welch is hypnotic and fully saturated, and the band behind her that sounds an orchestra is simply moving.

It was definitely a show worth seeing. Please check out my entire review at Lithium Magazine.
