I saw a slew of new movies that are opening this weekend, and I think there is something for everyone. Check out Total Recall for some mindless and very attractive action. There is the brilliant and eerie documentary The Queen of Versailles, chronicling the rise and relative fall of a very rich American family.
Then there is Celeste and Ruby. Both films were written by their female leads, and women have dated their male costars (thought Zoe Kazan is still dating her male counterpart in Ruby, and Rashida Jones only dated Will McCormick for a few weeks a long time ago). Nonetheless, both are interesting looks into the nature of relationships, but Ruby is far more compelling, with great performances and some very poignant commentary.
