Concert Review: Sleigh Bells

It would seem in a very short time Sleigh Bells, the electro-rock duo from New York, have matured greatly, honing their music and stage show into a powerful spectacle. I think their latest release is their best yet, and their live shows are more controlled without losing any energy.

They took to the Phoenix at last, having had to postpone after a sudden gig on Saturday Night Live, and demonstrated their sheer musical prowess and intensity.

The show was loud, and fantastic, and Alexis Krauss is endless fun to watch. And somehow she possess both the voice of an angel and a demon, reaching soaring heights in divine sound at times, and at others, screaming and intimidating, captivating with the volume and breadth of her songs. In one word, it was loud.
