Concert Review: Gabrielle Papillon

Initially grabbing my attention solely due to the fact that her last name, ‘Papillon,’ means Butterfly, I checked out Ms. Gabrielle Papillon at Supermarket, an intimate setting for the solo songstress. I was immediately drawn into the set by her voice, and though only playing six songs, the performance was superb. Prior to the second song, however, she told a quick story about how a piece she wrote nearly made it to television. That comment created an idea in my head, and I quickly realized that her storytelling ability, paired with her engaging voice, would be perfect for the great dramas on television. And so I wrote this review for Lithium Magazine.
